As a Certified Functional Strength Coach and Corrective Exercise Specialist, I love to see you meet and exceed your strength and wellness goals. I view movement as a gift, and our ability to move confidently and reliably through life is our responsibility to uphold. I can help with workout program design, travel workout plans, working out post injury and coming back to movement after a long hiatus. As a Soft Tissue Specialist, I bring knowledge of strength building, active recovery and mobility to the table, so you can benefit from a safe and effective workout.
Did you know that for every year after we turn 30, we start losing muscle mass at a rate of 3 - 5% each decade? This isn’t meant to scare you, it’s meant to impress upon you the importance of building and maintaining muscle mass. The benefits of strength training go far beyond building muscle; it also supports the immune system, strengthens the cardiovascular system, helps build bone density, improves metabolic health and mental health! All that from a workout! Resistance training can be simple AND effective. I focus on exercises that improve posture, which will help keep your joints in alignment and therefore reduce uneven wear and tear within the joint capsule. An often-unmentioned benefit of strength training is how it boosts self-esteem. The lessons you learn and apply while working out transfer into all areas of life. Work hard and you WILL see and feel benefits. Strength training teaches us that we are more capable than we think, and that the body can often handle what the mind cannot. You’ll realize that comfort zones were meant to be broken out of, and that your destiny truly is in Your hands.
All workouts must be pre-scheduled. Each party is only allowed 1 schedule change or cancellation per package. Any beyond that will be forfeited.
All workouts are 60 minutes long and include a warmup, strength workout with modifications if needed and a calming cool down.
